What a welcome from CarnivalGirl! Many thanks. She really looked after us all well during this mammoth movie session, which lasted 8 HOURS!! Apart from short breaks between each film when there was a lot of spontaneous stretching and sprinting (to answer the call of Nature), the only other muscles active were those of the eyes and jaws!
I’m pleased to say that I made it right to the end :), probably motivated by the fact that I hadn’t seen any of the films before – I know, I know. It was great to see the first three films back to back in the lovely company of old and new GOL friends. Now I want to go and see the fourth film. Is there anyone out there who hasn’t seen it yet??

I managed to watch this film whilst away Business Travelling ;-) , and was disappointed , maybe I feel the main cast are too old now and it's difficult to empathise with 14/15 year olds with the starting of romance, Almost like a Mary Kate & Ashley film !!. I did like the book.

I love the books and I prefer them to the movies...but I loved the movies as well. True, the cast is getting older but for me it had the opposite effect ... It kind of brought me back to the time when I was 14/15 and starting to have love problems (did it ever ended??) ... so indeed I prefer the books where the hints to love and romances are less obvious then the movies...but worth seeing. IF u find a place where it's still on ... I can even come and watch it again :)

Thanks again CarivalGirl for a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon with good movies and muchies!! Movie marathons are a great idea....but next time I think I will have to take a quick walk around the block to wake me up in between. :)
Lord of the Rings marathon next? Wow....that would require a sleepover!! :)

Girls I am up for it, we can use my small place with smallish but flat screen or whereever u prefer and start from 1 or moving on from 5 ... just as u like it.
