..for an awesome party. and yes, mission accomplished, i was quite drunk by the end. and it was the perfect level of drunkeness - i was giggling like a schoolgirl (sorry u missed that val), but didn't have to puke.

head was spinning when i woke up this morning, saw the flowers u and hobbes gave me that i put in my makeshift 'vase', had cake for breakfast, and i was happy. =)

that was prob the healthiest bday cake i'v ever had, thx janet! and thx to everyone for all the gifts - liquid ones that were consumed right away and otherwise! 'best ever tart' - not so sure. but i'm sure i'll have lots of fun with my own mini blowtorch once i get my hands on some butane!! =)

Welcome to the slowly-but-surely a little older now club Jackie! Thanks for inviting us all to celebrate your special day - it was good fun (even if I did have to show up looking like medusa post-swim training haha) :/ Thanks too to all who played a part in the rescue-effort of my wallet (in my case it was the fatigue rather than the booze - though that vodka shot was mmmmmmmmmm).
