Karting at Annemasse
After a postponed earlier event (bad weather) we managed to enjoy a wet sunday afternoon under cover breathing in petrol fumes , or Karting as they call in France. Catwoman managed to find 11 like minded souls to race around a kart track , coveting the winners trophy. Little did we know that Michael Schumacher was disguised as Matt , who proceeded to win every race. The finals results , Matt, Peter, Erik, David, David F, Hans, Michael (not Schumacher), Andrew, Martin, Ming, Trevor & Jackie. Photos and videos to be posted soon. Thanks to Catwoman for an excellent event.

I had a lot of fun but I guess that goes without saying... :)
However my back feels like I had a Thai massage (where they walk on your back) but with someone much too heavy--I have bruises all over! Who said having fun was easy?

Thanks again to Catwoman for organizing a fun afternoon and we'll definitely have to do it again soon.

An outdoor event next year sounds great but I don't think I can wait that long as I've been bit by the bug. Plus I think the 5kg I lost while in India may have helped my performance so I need to take advantage of that.

Cheers,
Matt

Just a quick thankyou to Catwoman for organising the event, I thought it was a great success and I enjoyed the meal afterwards too. Matt drove so well in the final I never got close (busy fighting off third place :). As I suspected I actually cracked a rib during the last race but that's being old for ya! Look forward to the next meeting, Cheers Peter...

Hopefully you're not out of commission for too long so we can do it again in the near future...
I'll try to catch the F1 race (8h on Sunday!) to see if there are any more pointers I can pick up from M Schumacher before he's all done.
