LAST "over 40's night out"
Dear All,

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU !!!

What a big surprise - I love the flowers

Thank you to All of you for attending, from near and far, (Montreux, Lausanne, France)

What a GREAT turn out - yes, despite the fact that so many of you had to attend Co-Xmas dinners, and, and...

Many thanks for all your smiling faces, the wonderful atmosphere, all the good fun - even life music! To everyone at D'Avincis a big thank you too.

I look back at almost 2 years "over 40's night's out" - what startet off with 7 people in May 2006 has now become a regular monthly event. Great friendships have startet, going out together to party's or even having dinner together...

Nir & Oded, I know glocals (former Genevaonline) is not a dating site, but three "over 40's weddings" are coming up in 2008.

A few people have left Geneva and I might be the next one to join them too...What ever the decision will be - it will be the RIGHT one!

It's also time to say THANK YOU to a few special people:

- Nir & Oded, thank you for inventing Genevoline, I mean glocals ;-)
- 5* friends (Youmeco,Trin and Steffix) you are the best
- Doublegin, thanks for all your "dry" humor
- Gallus and Sunfun, for being the "SWISS Mafia"
- Jasper, for being a lovely person
- Epicure, for attending all the way from Montreux
- Sunfun, yes you once again, for being "James Bond", always in secret mission ;-)
- Ceebee, for being my first friend
- Davidlt, love your humor :-)...specially the one for being in the wrong movie
- Dolcevita, for being a lovely friend
- Britabroad, thanks for all the good laughs
- mgemma, for being a such a nice friend
- Onlyone, ...secret mission too ;-)
- Sharon1 and David, you two are sooo nice
- JulianT, for being YOU!!! - and of course the famous hike ;-)
- Adel, hope you will be able to join us in 2008 - we all miss you

Sorry guys, just not able to mention everyone here, guys you rock and I'm thankful for every single moment which I spend with you! You have changed my life in Geneva ;-)

It's time to wish you a lovely weekend - I would also like to wish you and your loved ones, a happy X-mas and all the very best for 2008.

Big hug & xxx Helen

Well, as an honorary soon-to-be (gulp) member of over 30 & 10 Event, I have to say I too have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people in the group, and many regulars with whom I've hiked with this summer. You are surrounded a woundeful bunch of folks.

And last night, Helen provided some delicious cookies & breads for St Nicks. (Thanks for the doggybag! I'm having the bread now for my lunch sandwich! yummmm)

It won't be a farewell but just the beginning of a long-term friendship.
Have a wonderful holiday and see you soon!

Helen has a talent of bringing people together and making them smiling and enjoying! Warm and caring Helen deserves all the smiles of the world and more!
She has been the most welcoming and caring hostess for a growing group of 40+ people, making Geneva an friendly place to many of us.
This has been a real shock to hear last night that she might be moving on to the sunny side of the Earth...
The last night was as much fun as ever! And again- Helen has taken care for all of us!
Dear Helen , you will be missed a lot!
many many thanks!

A gigantic big thank you SWISS (Helen) for bringing us 40+ together. The last one was just as enjoyable as all your previous events (and I have been to a couple)!

I don't know what life will be like without my monthly dose of Over40s. What am I supposed to do on the last Thursday of the month? Maybe I have to take up stamp collecting....

It was a very pleasant get together. The new location, Le Ripp's Restaurant, offered us a nice space and the possibility of eating Pizza in slices, I liked that. We were 40 members attending, many new faces and new members. Unfortunately 8 excuses and 12 no-shows - taken away by St Nicolas ? Largely compensated by the attendance of friends coming all the way from as far as Geneva - GT, Youmiko, Trin, Dgin.
Thanks for the warmth and kindness of all present - also visible on the pics to come...

Thanks for all your encouragements, your positiveness - you are always ready to start new challenges and I guess you'll never give up for the Marathon to come.
Thanks Helen for knowing you and I hope we'll stay tuned in spite of the distance !

Not sure - but mission yes - together wit all the secret helpers spreading the word etc... (real teamwork)! The mission to THANK you for your great impact on the 40+ community in Glocals. See Steffi would not know what to do except stamp collecting... and Doblegin would probably "dry out" :-)). So thanks to you we are collecting good moments with great people and YOU are a real master in providing the environement and the event for that. Againe a great evening and - oh man - those "tresses" that you made...saved my next morning as well.

Mercii viiieeelmaaal !

Helen is definitely our Star - thank you so much for getting all of us together every month, for being the best hostess and for being a great friend ! You talk about us changing your life, it is you who has changed ours in so many ways - unforgettable 40's + and 30's + events and the great ambiance you have created as well as great friendships (and romances ?) !
I really regret missing this last one (am thousands of miles away). Although you soon will be elsewhere to a great new future, we will miss you sorely !! ... but you will just be a click and a smile away :-)
See you again soon !
