The location (the recently opened Restaurant-Bar-Lounge l'AO - former L'Age d'Or) was very much appreciated because the weather was so warm that the nice terrasse with comfortable couches was prepared and reserved for us. Without terrasse, it would have been very crowded inside, around the bar, and I had promised the owner to limit the attendance to about 40 people. In spite of my efforts ;-) - the glocals-event was FULL on wednesday - I have counted more than 50 participants.
There was a great mix of New Members, veterans and friends and I was very pleased meeting all of you. Thank you YouMeCo and Steffi for having joined us coming all over from Geneva.
The pictures are online, thanks Oded.
Looking forward seeing you again on November 2nd - and discover together a brand new location in Lausanne.

This was my first time attending Jasper's infamous after work drinks, and it certainly turned out to be a nice venue with the terrasse reserved just for us; quiet despite it being on the bridge, and conveniently located (apart from the mini hike to get there from the train station if you walked it!)
I was surprised to see how many people I actually know from Lausanne, many of whom are my hiking buddies / survivors, friends from the conversation cafe, and JT!! Was good to see you. sorry we didn't get a chance to chat.
It was a shame I didn't stay longer, especially as I bumped into Steffi heading up the hill as I was cruising down the hill back towards the station.
I met some really interesting folks that night, so i'm sure i'll be out there again soon.

Your Afterwork Drinks are always worth the little journey to Lausanne!
It was indeed funny to bump into YouMeCo on my 'hike up the hill' and her heading back to Geneva. Felt a bit like changing of shifts for the GVA people.
I was a bit worried to be late cause Jasper announced drinks from 7-9 pm...well, as it turned out there was no need to be worried. When I had to leave just before midnight there were still quite a number of people around :-)
