The turnout was very good, with 80 participants visiting the drink (including 10 no-shows, 10 unregistered, 20 members coming for the first time).

The hotel-lobby-wing we had at our disposal was convenient and offered a pleasant setting for meeting new and old, picking-up discussions of last time and starting new ones.

Thanks everyone for coming with interest and open minds - these attitudes are just making the drink attractive for all.

OSCAR

Friday afternoon Oscar and Tshirt had been handed out in Geneva, in person by NIR, so I had them on show.

Indeed, hadn't been able to come to the Oscar-party, and to celebrate we set-up a photo session (see pictures on-line).

Fortunately, Julian had taken his Oscar as well and so we showed off the two Oscars for Lausanne.

Thanks to all for the support. It is heartwarming to know that something simple like organizing monthly drinks is so appreciated.
