It was a very pleasant get together. The new location, Le Ripp's Restaurant, offered us a nice space and the possibility of eating Pizza in slices, I liked that. We were 40 members attending, many new faces and new members. Unfortunately 8 excuses and 12 no-shows - taken away by St Nicolas ? Largely compensated by the attendance of friends coming all the way from as far as Geneva - GT, Youmiko, Trin, Dgin.
Thanks for the warmth and kindness to all present - this is also visible on the pics to come...

Maybe it was also the traffic that stopped some people to come since it was quite heavy from off Morges....
Jasper,
Thanks again for having us discover a new place...start really get to know Lausanne more and more...
Great to see people from Geneva and Lausanne and just have a nice chat here and there.
I am looking forward to discovering more places thanks to you.

Jasper, this was another success, exactly the right mixture of new and familiar faces. I really enjoyed the warm cosiness. Thank you!
This restaurant offers lots of space and is well-located. To be kept in mind for other occasions!

Jasper,
I have to say.. this trip out to Lausanne was so much fun. But before I delve into the event itself, the evening started out with an apero in my office at <5pm; just a small glass on a near empty stomach. It was enough to make me wabble, but i JUST made the express train from GVA to LSN; however, once I sat in my seat, I passed out and next thing I know, I've arrived LSN. My point being, I could've ended up somewhere in Sion or beyond, but I got to the venue in time to see many of my LSN friends. Even Guillame who I rarely see these days was there. Nice large space for Friday drinks and even better was their pizza to soak up my alcohol. Just before we all left, I was taken back at seeing this very tall gentleman amongst us. I knew I'd never seen him in any previous Glocal events, but somehow had a hunch he was the offspring of very tall parents ;) Jasper, would love to have those photos with me and your son sent to me so I can post on my "FB" :)
A few additional thanks to Cyril for coming out at last minute, and my tall twin for hosting me in LSN. Had a great evening, and a fab lunch the next day!! See you shortly in GVA for the Xmas party :)
To all those in Lausanne, have a great holiday and new year and see you next year!

even a no-sign-up (hope he compensated for some no-shows?)
Thanks again Jasper&Co. for the WARM welcome!
Was happy to meet as well some members of your real family.
Your overall family is huuge then (as is your son).
Pics prove that vivid discussions were going on, but also serious competitions ;-)
Did you win in the end, YouMeCo? Seems so :-)
Thanks and see you next time.
Ciao, Gudrun
