Although the bar was crowded they quickly cleared the tables we had reserved so that we could as much as possible stay together. The bar also provided a nice assortment of meats/cheese on platters for us (free of charge and without me asking!)
In total we had around 50 people turn out to both welcome the newbies and to have their first drink with glocals. Was a great mix of people young and the not so young, vets and newbies. Everyone seemed to have a nice time...or at least I hope.
A few people commented on the bar being so busy and music loud - but being fairly young I organise these drinks in places I like to go around Lausanne......plus the music always is a nice way to start up a conversation.
Anyway - a big thank to the bar and to everyone for making the night a sucessand looking forward to seeing you at the next one in May!!
