Lebanese dinner on Friday
Hmmm...it seems like I'm supposed to write sthg up for the review of the Lebanese dinner last Friday... well...

Thanks to all who showed up for the Lebanese dinner: Gonzo, Martino, DaizyMela, SweetSwede, Eccs081, Artigo, Crazy_Llama, Keleko, Lovely_Katya, Abibi, and last but not least Lams21.
We started with 12 different types of lebanese mezza dishes and some good red wine. Mezza dishes had a lot of success as some people were jumping on them :) (specially the hummos...I won't give any names :) After learning the origin of the different GOL members nicknames, we passed to a lovely lebanese sweet dish called Atayif...small cr?pes with light cream and melted sugar....unanymously highly recommended. After the good sweets, we passed to a session of Narguileh smoking and Turkish coffee. While some people had a very hard time smoking the Narguileh, some others were showing their skills of how to get the smoke out...from the mouth, the nose, and the eyes !!! We also had a small session of predicting and previsions reading in a coffee cup...

After recovering from the Narguileh, we moved on and joined the Tigger event in Orangerie, great bar with great music and a wonderful ambiance dominated by GOL members. We then closed the Orangerie bar, recruited some extra GOL members, and moved on to Griffins to finnish up the crazy night.

Thanks again to all who came.

International cuisine part 2...coming soon in a restaurant near you.

(Note...I was kidding about the smoke coming out of the eyes...)

"Al Diwan". It's at 6, rue de Zurich in Paquis. 10 meters away from "Les 5 Portes". This is definitely a recommended place. If you're new to this cuisine, try out the degustation menu.

Cheers
