Mid Autumn - Moon Cake festival dinner (6 Oct)
Once again the "Cool Chef" has delivered such a superb 10-course Chinese dinner.

We had:
1) Sea food Soup
2) Entree mixed Dim Sum platter
3) Duck Special
4) Chicken with ginger
5) Lion head - Pork balls
6) Steamed fish
7) Spicy large prawns
8) Stuffed 3 treasures - Tofu, Aubergine & Bitter goud.
9) Broccoli leaves
10) Fried Noodle & Fried Rice
11) Dessert: Mooncake
12) An orange to throw into the river and make a love wish

Thanks a million, JackieChen!

People were great. Food was superb although poor me had only a few bits and pieces of each course. Blame it to the hangover! It was Heaven after that.

Is the orange now working for you guys?

Thanks, Mike. I was a good girl last night, wasn't I?

........I was a good girl last night too (relatively speaking, that is)! I am so proud of us C B! ;)

I managed a trip to Heaven and back without booze or an orange (guess my wish will never come true)!

Thanks so much, Mike, for organizing the evening! The food was really good, but I was almost completely stuffed after course #6! How I actually managed to eat two pieces of moon cake after all that food.....I will never know.

Great night! Cheers!

Thanks Mike for organising another feast for us to enjoy. Really enjoyed myself a heap; lovely food and lovely company.

Keeping my fingers crossed in the orange department!

agreed, i think we should check with each other in a month or two to see how the orange thing has worked out for us. :)

thx for the dinner mike! i admit, i was being totally selfish when i first emailed u about this, i just didn't want to go without moon cake for the first time in my life. :) and i knew you were the one to make it happen, so thanks! (even if i still disagree on the veracity of the orange busines.. hehe)
