Excellent ride once again organized by Pikachu into France (Annecy).
We took in three passes en route to Annecy, the Col. de Saxel, the Col. de la Colombiere & the Col. des Aravis.
The weather was near enough perfect for biking a little cold to start off with. Nice and dry with plenty on sun later on.
So with a warm drink in us. Five riders (2 BMW's, 1 Aprilia, 1 Triumph and 1 Ducati) and one passenger set off from Geneva for some amazing scenery, especially the Col. de la Colombiere, where a hot chocolate stop was in order. The choice of roads was excellent, loads & loads of twisty, windy roads up and down mountains and along the river valleys. Going in my book of routes for another go at a later date :)
Lunch was at Annecy after a blast up the N508 from Ugine to clear all the twisty roads out of the system. Then it was a quick ride (well with in the speeds limits as the French cops where out in force) up the N201 to Geneva.
As for photos none of mine came out, so we will have to wait for Pikachu or MartinX to post theirs.

Hey guys
Thanks for a great day -
The ride was great and wow...such scenery...and the company : absolutely splendid!! I think I have to get my license soon though.... sittin' on the back of an Aprilia is somewhat.....well...tough in the long run - getting off the bike in Annecy was difficult ...but then trying to walk normally was more like a comedy. I think walked like someone who doodled in the pantz!!
And then again - I'd do it all over again 'cause it was a really cool day and I enjoyed every minute. Hopefully I'll be able to go with you guys sometime in the future on my own bike (or a scooter Mark...?) !!!
Cheeeers,
Sissi
