NZ vs F quarter final
this kind of thing is really difficult to organise - either people meet in front of the pub, and you wait quite a while for people who're late, or you meet inside, and on days like yesterday, you may never find each other... as was kind of the case last night. some people whom i'd never met found us fine, others whom i knew, never found us, or at least not until it was all over.

so thanks everyone who showed up, sorry if you couldn't find us (also for those who got lost) - i really hope you had fun nonetheless!

i'm personally crushed: NZ did a really good job and deserved to win, i think. but hey, i'll get over it eventually...

I was there with a group of friends when one GoLer came over and asked if we were the GoL party as she couldnt find anyone. Although we were not there in an official capacity we of course invited her to join us to watch!

I have a feeling it will be the same this Saturday and Silverwolf is right - get there early if you want a seat - the England football team are playing a Euro qualifier at 4pm so it will be busy!

Cant resist this but COME ON ENGLAND!!
