Excellent evening! I particularly enjoyed the band and being part of the greeting team. Everyone had made an effort to look smart for the party and this added to the great atmosphere. Thanks for all the organisation behind it all.

Definitively one of the best parties I ever had in all my life... very good dressed guests, FANTASTIC place, good music and atmosphere... it has been simply WONDERFUL! Being a greeter it has been terribly funny... looking forward to help you again!!!

A GREAT SHOW NIR !!!

A party like this should be run once or twice yearly - on the same level with the same dresscode and in a similar environment !

Just two points. The music got very loud later on - same problem very often. Difficult for the DJ to realize the power as he is usually situated behind the loudspeakers. And the entrance staff has to control properly that the dresscode is respected.

what a great party!



a very good venue - no problems at the cloakroom, loads of space, very good ventilation, great hotel staff. i loved the fact that you could leave the party place and go down for a quiet sit in the lobby (although getting out of those chairs and back on the dance floor later on was hard :rolleyes: ). the band was great as usual, the DJ was all right. people actually started dancing quite quickly, which was nice. when leaving, people were able to get taxis right at the door, which was great for them. and yes, it was very nice to see all those men in suits and the ladies in their dresses. everyone looked pretty fabulous.



tiny, minor details: noone had explained you needed to get coupons at the entrance for the drinks, or maybe i missed that part. also, dancing on carpet is not ideal (salsa room), but that's not a glocals issue.



i had a GREAT time! thanks for putting in the effort to organise it and well done.

I totally second that, it was an amazing night. We need to have a formal ball more often, to give us the occasion to dress up a little. Looking forward to seeing all the pics soon.

For the members unable to attend, it would be wonderful if someone could help and write a real review of this happening. What happened all over the night, who did what, how were things arranged, how were the oscars distributed ?.

It was not only the dresscode and music, I guess.

So instead of statements : fabulous, amazing, first rate. What did make this party so successful ?

The band was excellent indeed, it really made a change! :w00t:
Regarding the DJ, he was really good, although a few more songs from the 70's / 80's / 90's would have been terrific. I also have a "diplomatic" question here: why is French music never played? I'm not talking about Daft Punk & co who "sing" in English, but I find it a pity that it seems to be somehow "denigrated" - we do have good rockin' music too you know ;)

One negative (sorry) feedback though, I find it really anoying when you have to go through the smoke fog to go to the WC :sick: - putting the smoking area at the entrance is not ideal.

But all in all, yes it was a great evening! Thank you guys, you rock as usual!! :cool:

How nice to have a chance to dress up, put on the bling and sparkle for an evening !

The venue was fantastic and the bar staff were quick and very friendly. The live band was good and got us up and busting some moves on the dancefloor.

Very well organised event, thankyou for all the effort Nir & Oded.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Stef Granny for the dance ;)
