Open Mike Night at Central Perk

brought a couple of friends at Pntbreakrick's 5th Open Mike Night on Friday and we were all very impressed by the various performances, flabbergasted, really !!! the evening zoomed by very quickly and it was soon time to head out to SIP, which as always was too smoky for my poor contacts, unless it was watching Hobbes show Rick some new slick and fast dance moves that made my eyes go blurry... anyways... you guys ROCKED the place, can't wait for the next one !! Thanks Rick for organising....

If I sucked, I unfortunatly can't blame it on the sound system. You guys do a real good job. Looking forward to ATTENDING the next one ;-)
And thanks again to Pauli for welcoming us at his place for reheashing. Thanks to Robyn and you for the great moments of music we had together getting ready for the OMN, even if I miserably ruined all our efforts due to my stratospheric level of panic on the spot. But it sounded good while we were just the 3 of us, didn't it ? ;-)

Must add my thanks here to Rick and Laurent for putting the whole thing together. Really enjoyed the evening, both singing and listening to the great stuff from others, particularly from Laurent #2. (Which leads me to ask, why did we only hear one bit of playing from Laurent #1 - after all, you left Rick at the controls, so you had plenty of time on your hands!?!)
Hopefully you'll manage to squeeze another one or two in before the summer heat catches us.

:-) But this is pretty weak I think Laurent...Hell I want to hear an acoustic version of some of the songs your band plays (with your voice...I prefer what you did)...Anyway, it was great having you MC the evening and I really enjoyed being the man behind the boards...Hope to do it again...Eoghan, sorry I missed you Sat. Meant to go there but missed it.

Thanks all for coming and making it another special evening!! Even if it was Easter we had a nice showing...Wish we would have taken some pics...Doohhh...forgot about that...I guess we'll try to do another one before it gets too warm as when summer rolls around, it's damn hot in there. Perhaps we'll change the venue too...

Long distance kiss is a potential cover tune ! Really enjoyed your music on sat, even if it was harder to concentrate on with the surrounding noise / chats.
