Over 40's night out (Thursday, 15th June)

Dear All,
Thankx to everyone who came to the second over 40’s night out.
I still amazed (had only 5 no shows, nothing to worry about this time, but I will keep the list for further reference!)
Thank you to the 6 people who send a mail or called and apologized that they were unable to make it. Really appreciate it.
Also a really big thank you to everyone for great feed back and encouragement (send out well over 70 mails)
We spend a lovely evening together,I hope everyone had a good time! (sorry did not manage to talk to all of you!)

Look out for the next event in July, until then have a great summer!

Hey Swiss.
Glad to hear the evening was a success.
We are making a No Shows list so that we can track who regularly rsvps for activities and does not show up.
Please send me the names of the No Shows and I will add them to the list.

A big thank you to Swiss for organizing it . The choice of place was FABULOUS and we had some good laughs too . Winks at Sherry and Swiss...:) Am glad it did not turn out to be a full harem night after all. Am looking forward to the next one and it just makes you feel Grrrrrrrrrreat about being over 40 ! Cheers Swiss.

The venue is a wonderful place that combines the classical with the modern style. Candels, indirect lights, cosy arm chairs and the mahogany round wooden tables add wonders to the air and you must say : THAT MUST BE ANOTHER GOL FREINDLY EVENEING .
Delivery of drinks via hand operated elevator reminds you of the old tv series of Upstairs-Downstairs.
It is true its a GOL over 40's event but when you come in, you feel the young at heart atmosphere. Freindly, Joyful converstaions mixed with wonderful memories of the past.

Thanks for organising a great evening Helen. Good to meet some new smiling faces.
Sorry i was a little late...but hey. The excuse doesnt come better. I just had see the end of the England game....and the best was at the end as usual.
Look forward to seeing you all again...Adel was quite snap happy so no doubt we will some photos very soon.

Swiss,
I am feeling really better now :-) knowing that Geneva has GoL: it was very nice and easy going meeting. after few minutes some of us were talking as we knew each other for long time. This really opened a lot of possibility.
