What a lovely evenig - and lovely people, a big thank you to all who attended.
To the no-shows, Kar...,Lau...,Jua...,Bet...,and Pri...,you are joining by black list, and guess what we have not missed you.
For five people it was the first GOL event, and two others will sign up to GOL.
Thank you for all the fun, the good laughs, and Steffi for the late night chat;-)
...and yes Jasper, Alinghi is going to win, I'm not there...
Niceguy enjoy your culture trip on the Danube and we are looking forward to the invite to the Kempinski!
Instead of a night out the lake we went to Paki in rue Alfred-Vincent 5-7.
Great place, view to the lake and birds singing...Ramiro and Vincent thank you for looking after us - we certainly will be back.
Jasper, thank you for taking pictures, we are looking forward to seeing them.
Wishing you all a great weekend, next event end of July at the lake ;-) until then - best to all of you.

The Paki is a real find, it has a really welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, can't wait to return and have more chicken wings!!
Thanks Swiss, it is great to be able to arrive at an event alone...yikes!! and know you will be welcomed with open arms!!

Hope that the initials 'Jua' were not for me ... as I didn't even sign up this time for the event!! I had sent an email to Steffi saying that I couldn't see it listed, but didn't make a definite arrangement to attend. I know how frustrating it is for you when you list the 'no shows' as this is why I would not commit this time knowing that Trevor was away and I had the 'In-Laws' visiting!! Anyway hope to see you all soon.

The pics have been sent for posting. Hopefully nobody feels offended being forgotten or having been pictured too often or in too much detail (that can be a problem). The street atmosphere of paqi is very nice, the daylight lasted long (the summer just started with the longest day).
Thanks Swiss for bringing us oldies together again - and good to see also many new faces. Forgot to picture your eating of chickenwings, will be for the next time....

Discovered a bunch of wonderful and fun 40+ friends who have such entertaining & sometimes radical talks/views of life (!). Lovely meeting Helen - our very welcoming, warm, friendly and smiley organizer - thanks very much for getting us all together ! Jasper, my pix should hopefully be posted tomorrow. Hope to meet you all again very soon. Until next time !
