(Grrr… why did my first post disappear on it’s way to the server ?!?! Second try… )
A big THANK YOU to Simsim for having invited us all (maybe 30?) people at her place for a very tasty and friendly brunch this morning. A big big up to Tinkie also for having spent so much time cooking us countless French crepes AND American pancakes. Both types were delicious, and all the toppings were great. Yes, Sim, it’s true, even if didn’t manage to finish the 3kg of ratatouille ! ;-)
The following afternoon in the park was just as great. I couldn’t believe it was October while sunbathing or sweating running after the freesbies (yes, there were sometimes several to catch at the same time) and/or the ball.
Thank you all for the discussions, cooking, music, sport, fun, looking after my son, taking pictures or just friendly company ! It really made my day, and my son enjoyed himself a lot too. Thank you all for being children friendly by the way. I wish I could have some days like this one more often :-D

well, thanks you guys for your sweet comments! And THANKS FOR COMING and making it the friendly, fun and tasty affair it was! I had a great time. A special thanks to Tinkie, who was the main inspiration for and the sole producer of such a pancake event - which can't have had much change from 100 delicious crepe and pancake creations - and then had the top idea to play frisbeen in the park.
Was a gorgeous Sunday, with chats, laughs, familiar and some new faces. That batch of ratatouille is not gonna last, but we can certainly have maaaaany more such events at mine. Perhaps I can even succeed in recruiting or nurturing Eastenders buddies at some stage too... A dose of that colourful community in the Paquis of London is the perfect start to any weekend day, and I can help in the translations - cultural, perhaps more than language.
