Photo Club - Chateaux D'Oex (Hot air ballon Festival)

Just wanted to say had a great time at the Balloon Festival. It was a great way to spend a Saturday, had a lot of fun. Great Event. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and having drinks/dinner afterwards as well. Bravo Shawdow69 for putting the event together.

Question : Why would you get up at dawn on a freezing, snowing, Saturday morning ?
Answer: Because it is Photoshoot day !
And the day has been just great from beginning to (late) end.
Got there just when the ballooon decided to take off and the sun decided to join the party as well ! (don't forget to check the pictures).
I very much enjoyed eveyones' good mood in the group, I enjoyed the sight of all these colors on blue bakground, I enjoyed the drink at the Giger's bar (yes, the one who created Alien), I enjoyed the vietnamese food and the later drink.
Sami you're the best ! thank you so much for this organisation, thank you for this Perfect Day and thank you to everyone who attending for being so warm in such a cold temperature ;-)
Looking forward to the next one ;-)

Thanks to all of you for showing up. It was an absolute corker of a day, and I personally enjoyed myself enormously. It was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately due to a mix up, one of my cards has gone AWOL for the moment, but I should have it back in a couple of days. Will send in some pics to be posted on the GOL site. Also to all of you photographers out there, if you do publish photos on a site (Yahoo, flickr, personal homepage, etc), let me have the link and I'll send it to everyone who signed up for the event (shows and no-shows as well, just so that they can see what they missed. lol)

Well, what to say about a day that I never forget. I was pleased to do this trip at Chateau d'Oex, and Gruy?re. The entertainment was there with the multicolored ballons take off. When the sun came in the afternoon, we would be able to make more beautiful pictures. Great.
It was my first time photoshooting, so I just want to thank everyone for the happy moods, kindness of all others. I enjoyed the indonesian dinner afterwards.
