For the teams this week it was a good start to the year with a 1st Place for our "Top Gear" a 2nd place for the "Pink Tigers" , and for the "Fuzzy Ducks" a place outside of the beer voucher winning positions.
It was nice to see some new players to add to our teams , including the legendary "YOUMECO" .
If we keep this pace we could be in with a chance of big prizes at the end of the year , as we joined too late last year to catch up, even though we had the highest average.
The quiz is every week , and there is always a core that make up the team but it always nice to have new faces, and we've spread to 3 teams regularly now.

I'm no longer a pubquiz virgin either (!!) thanks to your no-pressure tactic of pointing out that I've never been to this fantastic evening of brainy people making me feel like an idiot, but also making me feel old for having forgotten so many things I once knew back from school... but I was pleased that of all categories, BLOOD was my highest scoring. (Steffi, we really could've used you!)
Hopefully these monday nights will become more regular outings for me, and maybe next time i can join your team :)

Oh Yumi....its too easy being on Britabroad's team...you need to fight for the beer..it will taste better (or Bitter perhaps) :-)
