I know it's a regular event, and not too many people ventured out in the rain .. BUT this is my personal self celebratory and thank you note. I WON my FIRST EVER POOL GAME!!( not playing in a couple). It was againt a player of my level (not that the beat any of the good ones) .. but i WON! i am SO happy. after 6 months i finally learnt how to play!
SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO: my very devote cheerleaders. If they would have actually supported me i'd have not had the motivation to prove them wrong and actually win. (does it really makes a difference if i concentrate? yes it does!!!!) and to the coach, that volunteered for the last 2 shots to rescue me from my misery (2 balls on the table vs only the black one) and help me with the last 2 shots.
YAY. Even italian girls can play. :)

A rather quiet evening – everyone watching football? - but had a blast! Played quite a few diplomatic Santa vs Heidi games, a twin game and practiced reverse-cheerleading (still blaming blondie on that one) that proved very effective. Time just flew by… Thanks busstop for organizing again and many thanks to my opponents. Rematch next week? :)

so next step is to get a coach and sign up for the euro pool championship :-) !
but hey was a realy great nite i had smoe serious hardcore games with Yan which i really enjoyed ..
