Amazing!! Good music, a friendly atmosphere and a glas of wine at 4 CHF, this doesn't sound like Switzerland ;=))

Yes, Le Romandie is awesome.

Great music, great athmosphere, and reasonnable prices :)

You may not know but Le Romandie is an association. Yes it is!

It is mainly run by volunteers, they emloy two person part time for the admin work and so on. The security is fully outsourced (hence paid).

The idea (from what I know) is to promote artists and provide good concerts for the Suisse Romande music scene. The Romandie does lose money many times because of this choice but manage to be able to carry on because of the great team behind it, and of course the money from the government.

Le Romandie is always looking for volunteers so if you're interested, please sign up! There are quite a few expats volunteering over there but if you don't speak French that's probably not a big deal & you'll be able to learn it in a great environment! As a volunteer you can do: bar tender, work at the ticket office, work at the cloak room, & so on. You'll be rewarded with tokens for free drinks at the end of each shift ;)

I've done it for about 6 months myself & really really enjoy it. Very laid back on your commitment, if you can volunteer every few weeks it's great, if not that's complitely fine.
