Shahi Curry Night
Sep 27, 2007 @ 11:49
The 1st curry night for a while but we weren't disappointed with the evening , great food and company , most of the usual suspects were there, with a few newcomesr who had to provide the obligatory "30 Second Intro", around 30 attended with only a few last minute dropouts. Thanks Dean for organsing , and I'm looking forward to the Big Curry night next week.

...The Shahi claim to use a wide range of authentic spices... I have to totally agree, without going into too much detail!
Good night, a good crowd - thanks everyone!
...a few stragglers at the end that wanted keep drinking...would be interesting to hear your story on the rest of the evening!! I made it to the door of the Brasseurs after the curry, but my better judgement told me that the next beer would be the 'point of no return!' Hope you had a good one...a mixture of boys and girls...so come on...dish the dirt...!!!
Cheers all!

Still had an excellent night as usual. Nice to catch up with some old faces and meet some new. Nice venue, good food and great company. Thanks Dean for organising this again, and already look forward to the big curry party next week.

Well I tell you what Dean - I suspect that my morning was probably a just LITTLE bit worse than yours...
After the lovely ladies abandoned us, and after Brasseurs rudely closed, the remainder of us staggered to Britannia and where I was forced to drink several more pints and a whisky "for the road" (well, okay, maybe I didn't need too much forcing).
Great night though!
Things I learnt: if I ever have kids and a nanny, quiz her carefully about the rhymes she's teaching them; Brasseurs beer is an aquired taste ... and that Calvin Klein doesn't pay me enough.
