I also had the same impression as you had about shakers. It is such a pitty that a normal disco that plays normal music is not crowded.... But then again it could be less expensive.

My idea would be to propose a GOL discount night on one of these discos (like every first friday of the month GOLers pays half price for a shakers) I know we can make it full and they can make it cheaper (win-win situation).

we're actually thinking of doing a few GoL nights at these clubs, where GoL members will get in for free and without waiting outside for 20 min...(-: more updates coming soon.

Seperatly, the owner of shakers is a GoL member ('cooper'), and I honestly think he will appreciate reading your feedback. it's good that he knows what people think. if you really feel like it, feel free to write directly to him as well. I will seruly drop him a line myself too.

I am getting so many negative feedback about shakers.....from people who went there. It is sad that some of us have to pay Frs. 27.- to get the "royal" treatment. It was my first time there. I think the right thing to do now is to check out the "reviewed" before one venture out partying. It pays big dividents when you check out GOL!!

I reckon the owner don't give a damm about giving a good impression of his club because others will come anyways...who give a f***!!!

Concerning your comments; Let me ashore you that they taking fully onboard.
I start with waiting outside, our policy is not to keep customers outside For no reason unlike some other clubs, our reason being is its Winter people wear coats which need to be checked in to Vestaire, Unfortunately that can create a traffic jam outside.
Concerning what you pay at the door, Its not 27sfr its 25 sfr plus 2sfr for those people checking their coats.With that 25sfr you get one of our mean shakers (You can ask Serena). They are worth 25 sfr. We pride ourselves on being able to offer cheap bar prices in a club atmosphere.Just to prove you our point WE OFFER FREE ENTRANCE TO ALL GOL MEMBERS( HEY Nir how about that?)Please send an e-mail with your names to be on our permanent guest list for the month of march.
about the website comment you are absolutely right what you didn't know was our webmaster had to leave for emergency, but it would be updated next week.

billy or cooper..if you can make things better than the place can only be better for all to party, after all that is what everybody is interested. Will look forward to the "changes". It is alway a good start to a night out to be greated by smiling welcoming faces than with steriod man who act like they are the governor of california stopping migrants to come to hollywood. I didn't get my shaker....lol..

I think Shaker can be great with the right people inside - so the more fabulous GOLers who go the better - free entrance is a good start - thanks Cooper! One other thing - I only came on your operning night - which was fantastic - but it really seemed like you needed at least one or two more bar staff downstairs serving at the bar. I spent at least 30 mins waiting to be served....nice though for chatting up cute guys also waiting to be served..;-))
I would def come again if there was an event organised.
