Snowtubing yesterday
We were a nice group of 24, and spent a playful afternoon under blue skies and on abundant snow. In most cases we discovered something new. Snowtubing or tobogganing (see the pictures) is a very pleasant activity, fun, relaxing, and perhaps even a bit challenging on certain runs. Someone said to me: "my heart's racing" which made me say "it's good to check from time to time it's still there!" Then we had the traditional fondue at a very typical 17th century chalet, had a look at the small regional museum at the first floor of the restaurant and watched cheese making on top of all that. I had a great time and more, a huge thanks to everyone for coming and helping to make the day. And of course Julian is the best Brother-in-Arms one can wish for...

It sure was a wonderful and fun day - had never been snowtubing in my life. After gathering up my courage and sliding down slope No. 1 nothing seemed impossible and there I was on slope 6. The weather was great too, came home with a nice tan. The fondue was great and it was sure was amazing to watch cheese being made right in front of one's eyes just after having sampled a delicious fondue.

Thank you Bleu102 and Julian T. for organizing such a grand event. I hear that next high adrenaline outing wiill be a parachute jump:) and I will be sure and sign up.

Thanks for a thrilling day out Elizabeth and Julian. It certainly got my heart racing... though it would be too embarassing to mention the level of difficulty that I achieved on the runs. But it is all relative, right!

And now for a little tidbit that you may not know... MarcoMarco knows the words for all of Queen's greatest hits!! So Marco, we are looking forward to your kareoke performance on the 20th. :)
