Sunrise swim @ Bains des Paquis (7.45am)

This mornings swim in the lake was sooo much fun, 1000’s of dancing snowflakes…Cool

Missed a few of the usual morning swimmers, had support from the French. 3 swimmers before 7.45 and 3 more swimmers after 8am.

To the supporters from this morning, a big huge THANK YOU. Wink Guys, you  rock.

This is what we are training for: the coupe the noel / X-mas swim in the lake on the 19th Dec. (@ Jardin Anglais)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgJl32RjdF4 ( a link from 2008) 2009 was canx. due to "la bise")

...and we swim again on Sunday morning, 11am - see you there Smile

Thanks to the 5 usual suspects which still make it for swimming...remember in 10 days it's all over and done with. :-)

...last comment, the lake is getting colder...

for any new winter-dippers - note that the "coupe de noel"  is not something you can decide to do at the last minute, you have to be signed up a few months earlier - training for it is something you should really be doing throughout the autumn, acclimatising to the gradually dropping temperatures.

Wendy, thank you. The actual event is actually full since August. Over 800 swimmer's participate this year. :-)

Supporters are more than welcome on Sunday, 19th Dec. as from 9am
