Many thanks to Kiriel for the sushi lesson/dinner last night. Not only was it a great ease to the stomach after Death By Chocolate the night before, the lesson was one I'll remember and use for future dinner parties!!! And of course - it was great to meet other GOL members, as always :) E

Many thanks to Kiriel for teaching us how to make sushi. It was a well-structured workshop. We all had specific jobs to keep our hands occupied and clear demonstrations and explanations of how to make sushi. After our minds had mastered (??) the technicalities of cooking the rice, flavouring it, preparing the fillings and rolling the sushi, our stomachs received appropriate, and more than adequate, gratification ... delicious home-made sushi :) Yum... And once again my vegetarian needs were well catered for. A special thanks for that :) All in all a lovely evening in the good company of some old, some new but, as always, friendly GOLers.

Thank you everyone for coming along to my sushi making workshop. The enthusiasm and eagerness of everyone to get in and to get your hands sticky was evident in the delicious results. I had lots of fun and was most impressed with the quality of the sushi produced!
I hope to run another workshop some time... watch this GOL space!
