As you might know Miss
However Miss SWISS is the
With running and walk! Why?
As you know a selected MISS needs to have today many more qualities...which she certainly fulfils...
Not only photogenic when running (see pics....) but as always smiiiiling.... warm hearted, diplomatic or /and direct (but not hypocrite) and....she is perseverant and she finishes what she starts....against all (hidden) doubts ....
I thought she is nuts when she announced she would run the marathon...yes I did -and she knows...- today though, I was sure she is going to finish it.
She showed that "impossible things" are possible and joined man people for the same event, made them all run or cheer...
Also all the people along the street and even the organizers at the very end were all applauding and cheering....
All this and much more make her the real Miss SWISS...
Hey...simply CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!! :)
Also thanks to Tinkie for the nice support idea...great T-shirts by the way.....
SF
PS: Escalade is coming up soon... :) (apparently piece of cake when thinking of the distance... :-) )

Being a marathon cheer-leader actually turned out to be a lot of fun. Getting up early in the cold and dark on a Sunday morning was a bit difficult, but it was worth it!
It was great to see so many enthusiastic people, the one that were running as well as the ones supporting the runners.
Real great spirit showed a growing group of glocals escorting SWISS for the last kilometers to the finish. Even some of the people who had just finished their race joined in again. Looked quite impressive with everybody wearing their cool  black glocals marathon shirts.
The highlight of the day was certainly SWISS' finish :Wow:
SWISS YOU ROCK!!!
Sunfun is right: you are the real new MISS SWISS!
You made it and achieved your big goal! Who would have thought this one year ago? Running 42 kms! We are so proud of you and you should be very proud of yourself!
Congratulations also to all the other runners! You were magnificent :-)
Particularly Kassari (Bert) who was still greeting his supporters after 40 kms of race walking with a very cool 'hey guys' :-)
Hope the pain will be bearable and you will all recover quickly!
Looking forward to the L'Escalade...allez glocals!
P.S.: I will probably dream tonight of Tinkie shouting 'Allez Pascal, allez Christophe, allez Pedro, allez Gregoire, allez Phillipe,...' ;)
