Sushi Making Workshop

What a fantastic night! Kiriel, you're a star in the kitchen!!!Had a really nice time with the group of us, learning all the tricks of the trade and most importantly, how to make real "authentic sushi". It was extremely organised and I liked how we were able to participate in the preparation and then be able to roll our own creation under the watchfull eye of our skilled teacher, Kiriel. I picked up so many handy tips and can't wait to experiment on my friends for my next cocktail party. Thanks to Jeff also for making us all feel so welcome in his home and letting us cook up a storm in the kitchen...

leaving there last night !! It was so great I can't even express it. How many times do you eat "all you can eat" delicious sushi in your lives? Wow...I had to drink a gallon of water afterwards due to the quantities of soy sauce and wasabi consumed...Kiriel, you're the best teacher! Even uncoordinated me could do a sushi roll! You might have to discipline CeeBee though for not buttoning the pants of some those sushi tofu thingies... :-0
Thanks again all for an unforgettable evening. I'll see if I can figure out how to get some of those pics off my phone and on to this site.
Ciao for now!
Rick

Rick, I knew you will enjoy doing it for me so I left them unbuttoned. You must admit, though, that I'm a great sushi roller.
Kiriel, thanks mucho. I'm no newbie to sushi making but I learned some new tricks on the workshop. Really, it was fun and I wouldn't mind joining another one but I guess I have to give the seat to other GOLer.
And to the Matthew McConaughey look-alike Jeff, you're cool. Thanks for letting us mess up your place.
For the other GOLers, Roger the pilot and Rachelle from OZ, I enjoyed the night with you.
