TGIF La Laguna-Lutry-LAUSANNE-August 15th

The TGIF (Thank goodness it is Friday) drinks-dinner were held on the shores of the 'lac Léman' on Friday, August 15th.

The weather must have been expecting us for as 7:30 pm rolled along the clouds parted, the sun shone, and we had drinks on the Laguna's lovely terrasse. At around 8:30 pm we headed inside to enjoy drinks, food and prizes.

Quite a few chose the mongolian barbecue consisting in a lavish buffet, and others sampled the Thai noodles with either tofu and shrimp. Then it was time to draw our prizes-four- a free facial, a free computer check up and two excellent bottels of red wine won by Leslie and Stephan respectively.

Everyone had fun and I do hope that the next TGIF will be just as grand.

The photos were submitted today and, hopefully, this thread will receive comments.

Thanks to the co-hosts, Karin and Peggy, who made everyone feel welcome. The food was good and plentiful and the Mongolian Bar-B-que was fun to participate in.

A belated thank you for a lovely soiree hosted expertly by Karen and Peggy.The food was delicious , as were the cocktails and I sat next to some fun new friends.

I would especially like to thank Maplady who drove me and others back to Geneva in order that we didn't have to wait too long for the train!So very kind of you Maplady, once again, thanks.

I look forward to meeting you all again soon, especially now that the weather is so perfect!
