Never imagined that I would find myself singing along to Karaoke in Thai though to tell the truth I just hummed.  I am referring to Thai as the Karaoke hostess that evening was Thai and so were many of the dinner guests who had signed up for singing. Needless to say that us Glocalers, sang in English.

However, the 7 of us had a nice meal and then had a grand time leafing through a thick book of possible show tunes. Joachim, the most courageous of all us, stepped up the mike first with the rest of us singing back up melodies. What fun. Can't wait to sing again. We all were so thrilled that we headed over the le Cafe des artistes which is open until midnight during the week to sing some more and there, Joachim, Marcia, Marco and Karen (assisted by Marco) all thrilled the audience with their talents.
