Thanksgiving at Noga Hilton
The Noga Hilton's American Thanksgiving Dinner was great - there were hundreds of people in the ballroom, an abundance of food, - (strangely, no stuffing, but they did have fries cut into stuffing-like cubes). Kids were running around all dressed up in their holiday garb loading up on all the sugar at the desert tables. The country-western / patriotic flag bearing Americana decor was a initially a cheesy, yet eventually, nice touch to this Native New Yorker - There was even a band with a banjo player. Later, they did play some jazz, thank goodness :) Anyway, the 65 CHF price was fantastic for such a huge spread. We will be there again next year, and highly recommend it. There were all sorts of people from all different backgrounds, but English was the language for a night out in Geneva, and knowing that we were in a room full American friendly people was a nice creature comfort too - We could be as loud as we wanted:) We'll be there again next year. Kudos to the Noga Hilton for a great job. There's no reason not to enjoy Thanksgiving in Geneva.
