Had a very nice evening Trin, with 14 esteemed glocal-friends, thank you for pulling us together in La Givrine.
Everything was like advertized but as is with adds, everyone imagines things differently....
So summing it up, I had all as promised including log-fire, vin chaud, a snowshoe walk under a starring night (the moon appeared later on with the fondue), shooting stars, star constellations (orion, big dipper, the north star, ...), viande sechee and an excellent fondue.
You had made me laugh Trin, hiring a guide to not get lost under the stars...

Very nice idea and beautiful nice for that..true probably more snow would have been great. I regretted not having been in shape so I could at least join for dinner, which was really great, except an intermezzo for about 8 people landing on the floor .. :-). Lots of fun and very nice friends...
For Jasper...I think it is always good to hire a guide when you do not know the area well enough and especially at night. It is realy easy up there to get lost belive me...(since you can not just follow a street back since the onlyone there is does a great de-tour ....

Very pleasant evening indeed, dear Lynne and the others, full of surprises, the ancient & cute chalet, this terrific fireplace, the guide-joker, the acquardente from a bottle containing dead adders (yes, yes...) and finally, nicely seated for our fondue, ... le banc céda... the bench crashed. Everyone on the floor but no harm. Honestly, these Glocals are incomparable!

Great Evening Lynne! Good choice, perfect command of stary night, funny moments and cosy being together. And a save driver (lol...)! Met some new Glocalers (?) and had lots of fun!!
