For the 1st meeting of the Genealogy group we were 5 members at Starbucks (ideal location upstairs with high table and power unfortunately the Free Wifi was off).
After a brief introduction , I attempted to give the group my understanding of the hobby and a few tips I'd picked up, together with a demo of the information available through some of the websites I have access to.. We'll repeat the meeting in a few weeks so that we can compare progress (or not!) and perhaps have a few others interested join us.

Is this Genealogy Group still meeting? I would be interested in joining. Can't email anyone privately at the moment as my profile has gone unapproved...

It's nothing regular .. but this gives me the incentive to post again to see who is interested ..

if you're waiting for your profile to be approved, or you find photos are not being posted fast enough on the gallery, well site_admin's getting hitched, so both theh wolf and the big brother are having a little family moment ;)
however, in a week's time, I'd expect no more slacking off! (lol) :P
