Arriving outside the Soleil Rouge I was struck by the number of people standing outside and assumed that there had been Fire Drill and the place was being evacuated, but no it was the start of the warm evenings and the interior was just as busy.
Met many people but as usual never remember the names , and I hate keep asking (need a GOL business card! Name and Online Name). Hope to go to the next one , with a better memory ;-)

Thanks for everyone who came last night to the 6th wine and tapas night! It was my first time co-organising with Pseudo, but thanks to the great prior work of VeroB, it was not a difficult task.
Lots of new people last night, who met lots of other new people, lots of wine was drunk (especially by me :-)!) and there were lots of happy faces around the room. We even managed to welcome some intruders from upstairs (I remember an entertaining fellow called Oswald) and hope that they will sign up to GOL soon! Akli brought along some especially rowdy friends, but they were very entertaining.
Thanks especially to Maggie for her great work greeting, and to the other greeters, who made everyone feel welcome. Dano, one of our official photographers, had such a snazzy camera that our second photographer, TeeCee, was too intimidated to take any. Photos will be up soon!
Unfotunately we were kicked out by the police some time after 11pm. Something to do with closing time??? Judging by the crowd on the pavement, we were not the only ones not ready to go home!
Watch for the next wine and tapas in 2 weeks - we are looking for an outdoor venue for the next one, perhaps one that doesn't close at 11pm, please let me know if you have any ideas.

I completely agree! This was my first Wine & Tapas night too and it was absolutely wonderful! I was taken back by all the prople outside, but after venturing through the crowd I was happy to see some familiar faces and to meet some new people too! Thanks to all the organizers and greeters. I look forward to the next one!
