Zurich 2000-Members Party

Wow! What a night it was!  I LOVED this event, and met so many friendly Zurich folks

And we thought the space we reserved, for 200 people, would be too big...(-:

Next time we do a big glocals party we'll hire the full venue just for us, to ensure there's enough space (and to ensure there's no smoking anywhere inside).

Big thanks to:

  • Ehsaan, who made it all happen! Ehsaan is the main glocals man in Zurich, and the one who planned & executed this whole party. Dawg - you're amazing!
  • Gabi, Jo, Marit, Gustavo, & Patrizio: the friendly welcomers. You guys put your time & energy into making others feel welcome: thanks!
  • Holmes-Place Zurich, for the Tombola prizes!

We'd love to hear what you thought of the party...

It was great! Soooooo many happy people, but this place was certainly too small for us. Im sure we would not have any problems filling a concert hall with Glocalers :P Thanks to my fellow welcomers, its been a while since i saw so many smiling faces at once :hehe:

Im very glad to see that our Zürich community is getting bigger and bigger....

Ehsaan and Nir you guys are the greatest :cool:

Where do I start from?? :w00t: :w00t:



I would like to thank all those 200+ members for attending this party and making it a big success! I would also like to thank for welcoming the guests. Thanks for being the watchdog at the door and looking out for the Glocals members. :P ;) The Amber staff was also very friendly and helpful.

I would also like to thank all those who voted for me..



Party started at 7pm with glocalers showing up slowly and gradually...by 9pm the bar was full and people were rubbing shoulders since there was not enough room to move..



We had around 200 free drinks! Cosmo and Prosecco and also some tapas...







I thoroughly enjoyed the party and I believe most of you did as well...



A big thanks to all those people who bought the Tambola tickets!! I raised 560 CHF that night...A big round of applause for you all..



I would like to thank

Restaurant Maharani (www.maharani.ch)

for sponsoring the prizes.



For those who are not aware, the money goes to the school that I am building in a small village in India. If you want to know more about it, do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected].
