Many thanks to Ehsaan for arranging the Zurich Mid-Week Drinks. It was a popular evening with a good venue and the 60 or so people who attended took up the whole bar! Some people soon moved just outside to the street where it was not so hot or crowded, but still just as fun. The event was advertised via other channels like www.facebook.com and I am guessing that is how most people found out about the party.
I decided to arrive on my own as I wanted to know what it felt like to be a newbie again! Would be great if there was a Sherri equivalent in Zurich to help with welcoming guests and making first introductions! Noticed someone walk in, look lost, then leave before anything could be done. Music was fine, but quite loud which made it more challenging to start conversations with new people. Thanks to Hully and the guys for stopping by. Most appreciated and good to catch up with you. All in all, a good evening.

60 people is a great turnout.
Lets hope some of them decide to join glocals.com and spread the word.

I just try to get a bunch of jokers together and have fun.
Phil..I was at the door to introduce people, but at 1 point of time there were about 100 people and the bar was crowded..Couldn't do it anymore.
I am glad people were happy, since it was an event with a lot of things put down together. Also the bar owner was happy to give a 50% discount on all drinks.
