Just wanted to say how fun it was hunting last friday. Thanks Pat for an event such well organized. We had complete fun and loved running from one pub to the other. Alas, our team didnt win..... :crying:
Reported around 6:30 to the initial point, formed a team of myself, Ehsaan (a map himself in that area ;)), and three wonderful ladies... Sanne, Marina and Sietske... from there went to Hooters to solve the first set of quiz. And man, the chicken strips I had was not the best, but the search that went on for the next 40 mins was pretty exhaustive. However, we had our confidence high when we left with all the answers. Since then, it was a number of theme bars that we visited and I gradually lost count.:P
At the end of the fun ride, it was time to meet at the Piranha bar where waiting for the result to come out, all of us let our hair down and enjoyed the music. The result eventually came out two hrs later, but by then probably none was bothered about it.... it was beer, music and dance all the way. But how can I forget that we didnt win.... we had put in a lot of hard work behind getting those crooked questions straight, but I guess all the others did that too.
Around 2 am and a few drinks later, the crowd started thinning and it was time to leave for our den. All in all, a great Friday night.
