Last night we met at my flat so everyone could oooh and aaah over the big changes I made in the rooms, following their clever advice.
Tim and I have been painting all the 11 doors in my flat, moved every single room around to another one (except the kitchen and bath, obviously), threw away masses of clutter, including 2 carpets.
So, oohs and aahs, then off to Biorb_Owner's to get lost along the way, ring at the wrong doorbell and then finally have a look at the bedroom and livingroom for decorating ideas. This one is easily tackled, so we settled down to a great Italian meal and friendly debates about sects v. religion v. faith (sorry Religious Police).
Sylph was there, despite recovering from very recent surgery, so a big hats off to her for her support and smiling face.
Thanks to all for the enjoyable evening. Not a lot of work done, but I enjoyed it just the same and hope you did too. Vive le DIY!

Dear Mary, what about all the weight lifting I have done recently to get fit for the painting job? :) Why did you save us? Congratulations anyway for getting all that done on your own (hope Tim was not the superviser:) and look forward to seeing the progress.
Missed you guys last night but I look forward to the next gathering!
