glocals Halloween Party GVA 2011

Hey all,


What a crazy night...Even Geneva's biggest party hall - Palladium - wasn't big enough for this party: by 23h30 we were nearly 2000 guests inside and 500 more waiting outside, and we had to stop entry. And the costumes & vibes & people were out of this world...Big thanks for your trust!

Here's the main points we wanted to share with you:


1. Big thanks to everyone who joined with such amazing costumes
It was amazing to see so many people who made so much effort to dress up in costumes and get into the wild party mood. It just didn't feel like Geneva...Big thanks for your trust and for partying with us! 


2. Sincere apology for those who couldn't get in cos it was too full
Even with a capacity of 2000 places, Palladium just got too packed and we had to stop the entrance with around 500 folks still outside. It killed me cos most of these 500 folks made huge efforts to dress up with costumes for the party, and we ended up disppointing them. I truely apologize for this.


3. What we'll do differently next time
With the Halloween Parties getting so big, we need to find a way to ensure that guests who make the effort to dress up in costume are able to get in. The main idea we're considering is to pre-sell "guranteed entry" tickets for the party (on the condition the ticket holders come in costume). So you'll know that if you have a ticket, you're in. (as a side benefit, this will also help us speed up the entry, cos the caisse won't be a bottle neck anymore). 


We'd love to heat your feedback about the party in general, and about the pre-sell idea.

Needless to say that it was great, as usual!! You and the volunteers rock, looking forward to the next one! :-)
Some costumes were really, really creepy and I think the winners really deserved it!

I thought the party was amazing! Great music, creative costumes, tons of fun.


I definitely think that the guaranteed entry concept is an efficient solution for the next massive event.

Thanks Nir :)!!!!The party was amazing last night, one of the best I have been to so far for halloween.The music was great and it was so nice seeing everyone dressed up and so enthusiastic about it .

Hey Maria, 


The 1st prize this year went to the Crazy Doctors trio. The runner up was Sponge-Bob (who was Edward last year and Borat the year before, and who should clearly be working as a Hollywood creative guy cos he's amazing!).

Thanks so much to everyone who put on the party! It was a great time, I had so much fun. Even though I had to wait about a half an hour to get in, it was well worth it! :) My only feedback would be maybe next time the DJ could play more fun crazy songs like Thriller, Monster Mash etc. Appropriate for Halloween, and just more top forty. Maybe this is not a popular opinion, but I'm not the biggest fan of House/Techno, I understand that it's gonna be played, but maybe just mix it up some more :) (That was really more for the future DJ I guess)  Thanks again!!!

Amazing party! A friend told me about tris party but i didn't suspect it would be so fun! The only negativa point was the end time! 3 am for spanish people it's too early jejeje. Seriously, you put the level on top! Well done. Thanks. Red teletubbie

Sindy Halloween party has become now part of Geneva traditions just like Fetes de Geneve !!!


The party was awesome and my and friends had a fantastic time. It's true that it was packed may be next year a place like the BFM (Batiment des forces Motrices) would be good to welcome all those who wish to be part of the party.

It was a great party as usual. I once attended a new year party at Palexpo organized by the local radio station ONE FM. It could be a nice idea for next year. Well done Nir again for this fun party.

Truly amazing party as always! Do any of you have pictures with a guy dressed like a cowboy in a horse? Many people I do not know took pics with me, but I do not keep any, and I would love to keep them as a mememory!
