very cool!  so, like do you get stares from folks walking past by in wonderment?  I've seen salsa lessons being given along the rhone in paris, and old folks waltzing in front of the tombs of the unknown soldiers at the red square in moscow. 

maybe you can start the guiness book of records for the largest outdoor salsa event! Ask Britabroad on exactly how many folk you'd need to break the record ;)

It's real nice outside. Not only physically more pleasant than indoors, but also mentally the dancers let themselves go more. You'll see when you come from NYC to dance with us...

Thanks. We charge a fee for 2 reasons:

• To cover costs. These costs are a top teacher (in Geneva we work with the best teacher around, who is the Swiss champ, and I do not expect him to come for free), an indoor room that we book as a reserve for bad weather. 
• To generate a fair return on the time & efforts it takes to organise.

If in Zurich you're able to get all the suppliers to work for free,  and you have someone willing to coordinate all the courses every 2 weeks also for free, then great. In Geneva, we don't...
