Back from a great hike

Uri is the kanton where it all happened, and switzerland came together

we ended the hike near the vier wald see

we had rain and hail throughout the hike but as usual great view

fields of wild flowers in many colors

we visited the farmer and bought some great cheese,

the coffee shop at the beginning and end of the hike was so lovely with the terrace overlooking the lake and mountains, what a gorgeous view

and the friendly dogs welcoming us under the tables was a pleasant greeting for my dog

almost lost my sweet dog but somehow we all met at the end of the trail

it was another wonderful hike, happy to see some people from previous hikes, and very happy to meet new faces, always amazed at how nice the people are , and the atmosphere is one of one big walking party, where people talk, share , and laugh together

no wonder we are all meeting tonight again at the Irish pub, where the conversations will keep flowing, as we all dress up and show off the great tan we got when the sun was out

happy memories of another beautiful hike! it keeps getting better all the time as the carpets of spring flowers that never fail to amaze and dazzle

what a great way to spend sunday, hiking, getting to know new people and seeing some old friends again , a winning combination every time :)thanks everyone for sharing smiles and the long winding road
