i'm dying to hear all about this brand new gathering and surprised no-one's posted anything about it yet... is it because the Fresh Fish are so new that they're really shy? ;) i heard from Iolly that it went well, but i think i'm not the only one to wait for other feedback!

Hey all of my fellow "Fresh Fish"!
Have you checked out the photos from last Wednesday night?
As like many other "Fresh Fish" I did not get a chance to get all of your user names, so please check out the photos posted by lolly and tag them.
It is always nice to have a name to go with the photo.

It was the very first Fresh Fish Drinks and I must say I had a great time organising it and welcoming the newbies to Glocals.
Hey, a "premiere"....everybody showed up and the ones who couldn't make it kindly let me know in advance! Wow!!
We were 23 Glocalers at the Nirvana Lounge. At some participants' request, here are the usernames:

In the beggining, everybody was really shy, but after some introductions, the fresh fish could swim on their own! They started to "chit chat", get to know a bit more about each other.
The veterans (Stef_Granny & Keleko) were awsome....not surprising, hein?! These guys are just great!

I really think Iolly did a great job and she's a real living database of Geneva - you should ask the local chamber of commerce to pay you! =oP The location was really cool and I liked a lot the possibility of presenting each other and the support of the veterans. Negative point: the chairs!! they create a too static atmosphere and, in my view, do not facilitate the mingling among people that may also be a bit shy or nervous for the situation. maybe some ice-breaking activity would be also nice, I don't know. But a part from these details - it was any way the first of the "fresh fish" series, so it is normal that there may be something to finetune! - it was really nice!
