big thanks to robm and chef john for organizing and implimenting this morning's program to feed the needy. it was really excellent both for the community and for those of us helping out. a great time shopping (11 kilos of strawberries? 15 baguettes??!?) chopping, chatting and serving.
there was quite the turn out as well, about 150 people that we fed today...and you all thought planning a dinner for 10 is tough! anyhow, chapeau all and i really look forward to the next time (even if we DO have to be there by 9am on a saturday!) :)

even clumpsy me managed to help, cut, chop, and whip the cream :)
It was really a great feeling to help the others and with such nice people around that it was really fun!
