I stayed at the Globetrotter's hostel when I was there, which is pretty convenient to town and very cheap. But of course a hostel is a rather different class of accommodation to a hotel!
Kayak.com came up with better results than your price... including 190chf for a 4 star hotel! Try www.ratestogo.com, and www.hrs.com as well. I strongly recommend checking out reviews of hotels before booking, at www.tripadvisor.com as well.

Hi,
I just posted about going to Dublin for St. Patty's before seeing your message. Are you leaving from Geneva? Which airline are you taking? You know, you can probably stay for free at someone's place through couchsurfing (www.couchsurfing.com). People of all ages and types are members and many will accommodate couples.
Cheers,
Lauren
