There're a lot of nice places in Barcelona, but personally I like old city very much.

Since Plaça de Catalunya you can visit the Barri Gòtic (with old streets, the cathedral,...) and Les Rambles (with a obligatory stop in Mercat de la Boqueria). You must visit La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell (all of Gaudí), they're very beautiful.

Maremagnum is very nice too, where you can see the port and walk to the Barceloneta beach.

If you have time, and there're a shiny day you can go to Parc de la Ciutadella and end your visit in Barcelona's Zoo.

Here you can find all the information about what to visit, and you've options to do some itineraries depending on your days: www.barcelonaturisme.com

But it's true that Barcelona is very big and there're a lot of interesting places, if you want know and enjoy it well you need more days, you'll have to go again!

I hope it's helpful for you!

Hi Gisela ,

It was a wonderfull trip, thanks for mentioning the 'must see places', we covered all of them. Friday Night we just went around near to 'Espanya Circle' . next day we covered the whole city in 'Barcelona Bus Turistic'. And in the evening, we could attened 'Magic fountain of  Montjuic'.  show. It was great. Sunday we used the 'T-Dia' day card and enjoyed the whole city.

Once again Thank you Gisela, we may plan Barcelona again !!

Cheers, Sree

Barcelona is one of the nicest cities to visit. Its museums, theatres, art galleries and nightlife are of an impressive high standard. Besides that, this art and design centre has a lot of interesting sights to offer to its visitors. Here are some things not to miss in Barcelona:
Sagrada Familia Church
Casa-Museu Gaudi
Bishop's Palace
Las Ramblas
Passeig de Gracia
The Poble Espanyol
Picasso Museum
Gothic Quarter
Olympic Stadium.

Easiest way to explore city and top places is with car hire Barcelona or if you get there by plane then car hire Barcelona Airport.
