Cycle from Geneva to Annecy

Has anyone ridden their bikes from Geneva to Annecy? I've looked up on googlemaps and viamichelin, it's only 40km using auxiliary "D" roads.

If anyone has done that and has good road hints to share, I'll be please to hear them Tongue out

Haven't ridden Geneva - Annecy, so I no tips there.

However, I've gone from Lausanne to Geneva, which is an awesome daytrip. In the beginning you can follow the lakeside and ride trails and other fun areas, and then towards the end stick to the roads.

It's around 63km from Lausanne trainstation to Cornavin trainstation, and then you can take the train back. Perfect- ass hurts though (they were rented bikes:p)
