Ferry from Italy to Greece, and Border Entry into Turkey from Greece

Hi Guys,

I am thinking about driving all the way to Turkey in the summer and wanted to know if anyone has any ideas on the ideal place to take the ferry from Italy to Greece, and any info about driving your car into Turkey from Greece.

Any special papers needed, besides insurance? What if the car is not in my name but is a company car assigned to me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi we got the ferry from Bari right at the bottom of italy to athens. I think it took about 8 hours... don't know about the car - we were on foot...Have fun.
