....good price hotels.I'm planning to go to greece, and I have no idea where to start looking.All I want is water,quiet hotel.I'm not planning to do much apart from listening to music, reading,swimming,eating and sleeping.Maybe one weekend go to some historical sites but nothing very physical.My plan is to go from 16August for one week.Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

You probably want to head there. Check out this link for more information on the type of island that will suit your needs. http://www.greekisland.co.uk/. Zou might want to staz away from Mykonos and Ios as they are party islands and tend to get quite FULL at this time of the year.
Just a word of caution though. Trying to get hotel reservations for after Aug 15 in the Greek islands may be close to impossible if you havent done so already. Having said that, try anyway, you might get lucky. You may want to check out camping sites as well.
Alternatively, there are some decent beaches around Athens that you might want to try.

yesterday from a trip to Greece... had all my questions answered by some great 'advisors' on the forum on the 'Tripadvisor.com' website ... they give you advice on anything you need within minutes, and i planned my whole trip based on their suggestions. Great site !
