my parents will be visiting me for a few weeks in april. we are thinking of taking a 5-6 trip to greece. i am trying to do some research but am a bit overwhelmed on where to to. I think we would like to go to two different places if possible. which cities or islands do you suggest. thanks all.

Try Paros and Santorini. You can fly into Santorini, stay there for a few days, then take a ferry to Paros.
Perissa Beach in Santorini is fantastic. If you go there, you have to contact Zorzis hotel. The guy and gal who run the place are wonderful. So it the location. It's small, within walking to the beach, and a good value.
In Naoussa, Paros is a place called the Kalypso Hotel & Apartments. It's pretty nice. Rent a quad and tour the island. I found Naoussa to have many locals and excellent food.
