We four people are planning to go to Valmeinier ski resort for one week snowboarding holiday. We do not know to get there cheaper in the late afternoon of 15th January.

Renting a car would probably be one of the cheapest options - and definitely the most flexible. Hauling ski equipment on and off public transport is always a hazzle. Car rental in Switzerland is relatively cheap - especially if zou book in advance and divide the cost by 4!

If I'm allowed to suggest a rental company, try Autohire in Ferney Voltaire. It's 5 minutes from the airport (France), so it migh be inconvenient, but they're probably cheaper than the big international companies. Have a nice skiing trip!
